As many of you know, Annie and Adam met whilst studying at Georgia State University, despite never having had a single class together. At the time, Adam was an astonishingly handsome and quick-witted neuroscience student of only 22 years old, and Annie was a young 20 year old sophomore navigating Psychology classes and the dynamic social endeavor that was transferring to GSU. Annie may have asked Adam for some fake help proof-reading a paper she had already turned in, but that was all it took to plant a seed that would continue to flourish for the next 7 years of their lives. Through a shared love of backpacking, live music, and adventures with seemingly no end, the two bonded and almost immediately became each other’s partners in crime.

This partnership would take Adam and Annie all over North America- from backpacking through the moss-ridden paths of the Smoky Mountains, to sleeping under the star-stricken sky atop Yosemite Falls. If there’s one thing this couple knows how to do, it’s hopping in a car and letting the road take over. Their travels have also taken them on trips working and attending music festivals such as Bonnaroo, Sound Haven, Field of Vision, and Austin Psych Fest, which has aided in fostering their shared love for live music.

As their relationship grew, so did their wide and beautiful network of friends and chosen family in Atlanta. Annie and Adam share a love for community, mutual aid, and most importantly, sharing joy with their amazing friends and family.
